Sundays

We believe that worship can be an encounter with the living God! It’s a joy and a blessing to come together on a Sunday morning at 10.30am to offer praise to God and to pray for one another and the wider world. The music is usually contemporary with one or two traditional hymns and is led by our worship group. Our bible teaching aims to connect the deep, enduring truths of Scripture with our lives today. We make time for stillness, personal stories and the opportunity to reflect on what we’ve heard and respond personally. The children and young people stay in the service for the first half but then leave for their own 'Energise' group returning at the end of the service to share what they have been doing.

We have a large contingent of farsi speakers who attend our church, so we try and make the service accessible to them by using some farsi worship songs, prayers and readings. They leave the service just before the sermon and go to their own meeting where they are able to worship in farsi and listen to some bible teaching which is interpreted.

Communion

Once a month (usually the 3rd Sunday) we gather around the Lord's table for communion.  We practice an 'open' table and welcome anyone who acknowledges Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour to join us as we celebrate communion. There is also an opportunity to be prayed for after every service - at the back of the church after every service there will be some people available to pray with you.
